Files and security

How EDITHUBS handles uploads, processing, privacy, and file deletion.

Do you keep a copy of my processed files?

Uploaded and processed files are retained temporarily for processing and are scheduled for automatic deletion within two hours. Some temporary working files may be removed sooner after processing is complete.

Can EDITHUBS access or read my documents?

Files are processed automatically by the selected PDF or image tool. EDITHUBS does not routinely review uploaded content manually. Limited access may occur when reasonably required for user-requested support, security investigation, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.

How does EDITHUBS protect uploaded files?

EDITHUBS protects file workflows with HTTPS connections, controlled processing, limited file retention, account safeguards, and restricted operational access.

How does EDITHUBS communicate security practices?

EDITHUBS publishes security information that reflects the protections and operational practices used by the service. Current details are available on the Security and Privacy pages.

How long are processed files retained?

Processed files use a two-hour retention period and are removed automatically after expiry. Temporary processing files may be removed sooner.

Using the tools

Answers about uploads, conversions, supported files, and processing results.

How do I upload a PDF or image?

Open the required tool, choose a file from your device, and follow the on-screen instructions. Drag-and-drop upload may also be available on supported desktop browsers.

Which file formats does EDITHUBS support?

Supported formats depend on the selected tool. EDITHUBS provides tools for PDF and common document and image formats, including formats used by its PDF, JPG, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, HTML, and image workflows. Check the selected tool page for its supported input and output formats.

Can I process scanned PDF files?

Scanned PDFs can be uploaded to compatible tools. Converting scanned text into editable text requires OCR functionality. OCR results can vary depending on image quality, language, layout, handwriting, and scan clarity.

Why can a conversion take longer than expected?

Processing time may depend on file size, number of pages, image resolution, document complexity, internet speed, current server load, and the selected operation.

Will the processed document look exactly like the original?

EDITHUBS aims to preserve quality and layout, but conversions can produce formatting differences, font substitutions, image changes, or incomplete results. Keep the original file and review the output before relying on it.

What happens if a file cannot be processed?

If a file cannot be processed, the interface provides guidance to check the format, file integrity, password protection, file size, or internet connection. A different source file may be needed when the original file is unsupported or damaged.
