How to Edit PDF Files Online for Free
EDITHUBS helps you edit PDF files directly in your browser without installing desktop software. You can change existing PDF text, add new text, insert images, draw on pages, add shapes, highlight important information, cover unwanted content, and place a signature while keeping the page layout visible.
Upload your PDF file
Click Select PDF file and choose a document from your computer, or drag and drop it into the upload area. You can also use the available cloud and device upload options. After the file loads, its pages appear in the editor with page thumbnails for easier navigation.
Edit existing PDF text
Choose Edit Text, then click the line you want to update. Replace a name, correct a spelling mistake, remove a word, or rewrite the complete line. The floating text controls let you change font, size, bold, italic, and text color before applying your changes.
Add new text to a PDF
Use the text tool to place additional text on a blank area of the PDF. This is useful for adding notes, completing documents, inserting labels, or adding missing information. Position the new text where it belongs and adjust its appearance to match the rest of the document.
Insert images into PDF pages
Select the Image tool to add a logo, photograph, stamp, illustration, or scanned signature. Once the image appears on the page, drag it to the correct position and resize it using the selection handles.
Draw, highlight, and annotate
Use Draw for freehand marks, Highlight for important text, or add a line and arrow to direct attention to a specific area. These tools are useful for reviewing assignments, giving feedback, marking corrections, explaining diagrams, and preparing documents for collaboration.
Add rectangles, ellipses, lines, and arrows
Use shapes to frame information, mark important sections, or create visual callouts. Add an object, move it to the required location, resize it, and adjust its color or border thickness using the object controls.
Whiteout unwanted content
Whiteout places a solid cover over text or graphics you no longer want to display. It can help hide outdated labels, incorrect values, private notes, or unnecessary areas before you add replacement text. Review the final page carefully before downloading the edited file.
Add a signature to your PDF
Choose the Signature tool and upload your signature image. Place it on the required signature line, then move and resize it until it fits naturally. This works well for approval forms, applications, agreements, and confirmations.
Save and download the edited PDF
When you finish editing, click Apply changes. EDITHUBS processes the document and prepares the updated PDF for download. Open the downloaded file and review every page to make sure the text, images, shapes, annotations, and signatures appear where you intended.
